Press release October 25 - November 9, 2003 Labrador adopts the idea of a collective as proposed by Ocular Lab's history of projects from 2000. A number of projects have been arranged and installed as seeds for an ongoing dialogue on the nature and given conditions of experimental and continuous practices, alongside the regimentation of industry based cycles of exhibitions, performances and publications. By a process of reciprocity, each artist has tentatively engaged in Labrador as a fundamental plateau for the development of model exhibition practices. The Ocular Lab, by merit of its existence, is the primary focus of this inaugural discussion.
